Netflix says it will no longer be separting its dvd-by-mail business from its online streaming service. Earlier this month the company announced the creation of Qwikster, the online streaming component, which would split from the main dvd-by-mail service that would remain Netflix. But this week the news broke that everything would stay the same. The change comes after the company predicted it would lose 600,000 subscribers rather than gain 400,000 from the split like they originally planned. Netflix’s CEO commented that having two separate businesses with separate billing would be too complicated for consumers. Bye bye Qwikster, welcome back Netflix!
