Spring 2011 Commencement Breakdown

This weekend, Seniors prepare for the next phase of their lives. Everything they have worked so hard for here at IU has lead to this moment, graduation.

Patricia R. Miller, co-founder of Vera Bradley and former Indiana Secretary of Commerce, is the commencement speaker for both undergraduate ceremonies. William G. Bowen, former president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and Princeton University, will deliver the commencement address at the graduate ceremony.

The undergraduate ceremonies are on Saturday, May 7 from 10-11:30 am and 3-4:30 pm at Assembly Hall. They will divided by majors and schools (See List Below). The graduate ceremony is on Friday, May 6 from 3-4:30 pm at Assembly Hall.

The following schools will participate in the morning session:
-Kelley School of Business
-School of Education
-School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation
-Jacobs School of Music
-School of Nursing
-School of Public and Environmental Affairs
-School of Social Work

The following schools will participate in the afternoon session:
-College of Arts and Sciences
-School of Continuing Studies
-School of Informatics and Computing
-School of Journalism
-School of Optometry
